At American First Responder Co., we make gear that’s built to work hard, last, and mean something to the people who carry it.

We’re a small, family-run business that’s been creating handmade gear for first responders since 2016. Everything we make is done right here in our North Carolina workshop, with a lot of hands-on work, attention to detail, and the occasional supervision from our shop dogs.

This business started with one simple goal: make solid, dependable gear for the people who give their all every day. Over the years, it’s grown into something we’re incredibly proud of, but we’ve never lost that small-shop approach. We still make our products one at a time, and we care about what leaves our shop with our name on it.

And because life isn’t all work, we make a few things for the four-legged members of the family, too.
